I've put quite a few Beemers back on the road so I can deal with the challenge. The wiring harness has all that extra stuff for flashing lights and sirens, etc. Probably the only difference between a police and escort bike is the color of the flashing emergency lights. I thought it would be nice to go to a rally with all the goodies. Would be nice to stand up and put my pants on for a change.I've been crawling around in small tents for years. I've got a 6 man Eureka timberline, a little over 6' high, but still simple to assemble. I've got a Reynolds hitch, I've thought about adding to pull a trailer to make it a rally bike. I've got the BMW windshield kit for it and will probably add the BMW spotlamp kit to dress it up. body, trim, engine, transmission and other car parts in Europe. Just couldn't pass on it due to the parts. Check Bmw identification number and get vehicle history report. Bike is rough, it had a hard life in the escort business. Police style radio box and saddle bags with chrome nerf bars. But it had a lot of neat features, thats why I bought it, cheap. Bike had been laid down and the RT fairing was gone.
